That’s right – no guilt.
Queensland needs your help. Our state requires visitors to their region to keep staff employed and businesses viable. Queenslanders could help by “holidaying at home”.
During and after the floods, Rainbow Beach experienced a real decline in travellers. Yes, we were closed off from traffic for a very little while – yet physically, the Cooloola Coast was unaffected by the floods. We know we were fortunate in our region and our heart goes out to everyone touched by the disasters around Australia and overseas that 2011 has brought.
Now we need your support. How often can you holiday with such wholesome reasons? Relax by the pool – and help Queensland’s economy? Enjoy a cuppa – and save Qld jobs? Recuperate – and keep our tourism industry strong?
