Don’t believe us..

I know it is our job to expand the glories of where we live, instead I will quote Amanda Watt from Courier Mail. Her review in the QWeekend May 28-29, pages 36-37 describes Rainbow as “a delightful suprise“:

There’s been much hoo-hah in recent years about Rainbow (pop.1000) becoming the “new Noosa”, thanks to a mini-makeover that has seen an invasion of fancy hotel rooms and shop fronts. Instead, we found a community that was more quaint country town than vibrant hot spot. Food and shopping outlets are clustered around a small main street, a short stroll from the patrolled beach and one-storey surf club, and the townsfolk were so darn friendly.”

The Pub: “we were greeted with huge smiles from the two young bar staff, who remained courteous all afternoon.”

Arco: “Down the alley beside the pub we discovered Arcobaleno, a lovely little BYO pizza/pasta restaurant where, rather than being booted out on closing, we were invited to stay on until our wine bottles were empty.”

Although we and most of you know this to be true, it is still nice to hear about our”relatively unspoiled seaside hamlet“- thanks Amanda!
