We’ve got what kids want!

Family Friendly Rainbow Beach: Not only is it what they want – it is what kids need. Back to nature, the great outdoors and physical activity…

Fishing, swimming, surfing, bushwalking, boating, 4WDing, sliding!

Building sandcastles, exploring rockpools and waterfalls on the beach. The colours of sand, surf and sky. Carlo Sandblow, Inskip Point, Poona Lake, Seary’s Creek, Fraser Island, the Sandy Straits…

At Rainbow Getaway you can “get away from it all” and still enjoy life’s little luxuries. Good coffee. Fresh seafood. Daily papers. Playgrounds. Swimming pool.

You will find plenty of clubs, cafes and restaurants to try and the diversion of shops within an easy walk from your fully self contained accommodation.

Meanwhile – your kids will exhaust themselves every day into a long sleep. They will enjoy spending time with you – on a holiday just like you have imagined.

    • Hi Nadia – I hope I am not too late – just received your message! Many families with this age group simply visit the beach every morning- sandcastles, play on the rocks, 10 minutes walk (adult time) to coloured sands…kids are wading in the beach even now. Our playground and pool are popular and it means Mum or Dad can relax by the pool. We have sand play tools for the playground, and we hire boogie boards. The sand blow is doable -it is and uphill /steps in the walk but very worthwhile. Kids have a great time exploring it’s huge expanse (great at sunset too). There are a few walks that are pram friendly and all businesses cater to kids – the Pub has a playroom, other restaurants have colouring in or toys. The Dolphins are a MUST do – free to feed them (small donation only) we recommend the Dolphin Ferry although you can drive there. Play parks are dotted around town. Fishing is very popular with all ages. Icecreamery, bakeries and cafes will make catering easy. also plenty of local animals to spot – especially the bush turkeys that kids love. If you 4WD there are some great tracks close to town. Boardwalks at SEary’s Creek are fun for littlies – a cool place even in Summer heat. thanks for your question- please let us know if we can help further.
