Free School holiday activities at the Library
At the Tin Can Bay Library on Wednesday, April 9, 10.30-11.30am and Rainbow Beach Library from 2.30pm to 3.30pm. Come along and enjoy the stories and fun craft activities.
Come along for a free beginner/intermediate skateboard coaching session at the local skate park, April 10. Be there 9am at Rainbow Beach and noon at Tin Can Bay Skate Parks, no booking necessary.
The Rainbow Beach Community Hall hosts a Trash and Treasure on Saturday April 12 from 8am. There is still time to organise your own table for $5 – find out more at 54863355.
BYO buckets & spades
Sandcastle Competition on Tuesday 15 April, north of the surf lifesaving tower, registration from 8.30am. Some great prizes are on offer – including vouchers, beach equipment, food and drink hampers. There will be a prize for the most outstanding sandcastle or sand building, the most lifelike animal or fish and an open division where the teams can build anything they want – only $10 per family or teams up to 6 people.
Easter Saturday, this popular market is held at Tin Can Bay 7am till 12 noon, with loads of local handcrafts, fresh produce, and food and Easter Sunday at the Rainbow Beach Sports Club, 7.30am-1pm: arts, craft, jewellery, fruit and vege, food and fashion.

Kids club at the Rainbow Beach Aquatic Centre
Let the kids have fun and be active in the water, Monday to Friday 3pm to 5pm. At only $5 per child and catering for ages 5 to 12. Note – children must be able to swim.
