It is all family friendly on the weekend of 3 and 4 September 2011, the first Goldcross Cycles Rainbow Beach Triathlon. Both adults and kids can compete.

Active Kids Triathlon: Waves are organised by age groups and gender. The race is multi-loop for older children. The bike and run both take place on closed roads. Course marshalls will be positioned around the course to assist and encourage children throughout the event.
